Srinagar, Dec 09 (KNO): The Union Education Ministry on Monday said that Jammu and Kashmir has been receiving central support under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to integrate three years of pre-primary education into the foundational stage. According to official data presented in the Lok Sabha, the ministry as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said at least 1,34,249 children in J&K were covered under the Vidya Pravesh school-preparation module in 2022–23, followed by 1,30,640 students in 2023–24 and 1,19,160 students in 2024–25.
